The Nessa Brodge in Orkney
The Nessa Brodge is a massive Neolithic complex of buildings, many of which are just absolutely huge. They associate elements that we normally find with domestic architecture, but on a scale never really seen before. Some of the stones used in the site are on a par with those you see at the stones of Stennis. So it's an extraordinary site. What we do know is it's at the heart of the heart of Neolithic Orkney. It's connected to Maize Howe and the Stones of Stennis and the Ring of Broker. A very important world.
