Detachment in the Spiritual Life

The spiritual life is not about God trying to trick us and like saying, ah, that he chose the wrong thing. So much simpler than what we realize. Anything that takes us away from focusing on Christ needs to be reordered or integrated into our lives in a different way if it's something evil.
