Satyavati's Incest
Vyasa, the son of Santanubhishma, is keeping faith with his word and has no mind either to have children or to rule the kingdom. Satyavati persuaded her two daughters-in-law that they should lie with her eldest son. Vyasa successfully produced a son, but while this son would have his sight, he would have a sickly pallor. The dynasty was in trouble, so action was needed right away.
