I think it ultimately has less to do with ideology than with a certain kind of disposition towards the current, you know, the way the power is kind of arranged through the sort of media system. That that your politics are in a sense, like what position you take in relation to that. You know, it's funny. I saw this academic who was like just the ultimate system academic just like ultra conformist and he said these ideas about manufacturing consent are all just fascist or reactionary. And I thought, wow, that's really interesting because probably until a few until very recently before this person said that,you know, that would have been just like a totally standard view among left-wingers
