The Golden Death Mask of Tutan Carten

Tutan Carten suffered from cleft palate, scoliosis and bone fusion of the neck. Could all of this have been the result of too much in breeding? We also know that Tutan Carten was bitten by mosquitoes and probably caused him to contract malaria. This is reported to be the earliest known proven case of a human contracted malaria. Over 5,000 artifacts were found buried alongside the young Pharaoh. One of the most iconic and recognisable artifacts of ancient Egyptian culture is the Golden Death Mask of TutanCarten recovered from his tomb.
