I Hate the Hot, but My People Are From the Hot Place
When i first started dating my husband, he took me back packing in the very remote canyon lands of utah. My entire heritage is from near or above the arctic circle,. So as you can imagine, i didn't fare too well. I ended up getting severe heat exhaustion, and my then boy friend had to carry both of our back packs to get me to safety. A park ranger later told me that once you sustain a heat injury, you're far more susceptible to them in the future. But alice gets overheated so easily, and henry never doesye, that's how i feel.
