The East India Trading Company

The East India Trading Company was this bizarre corporate imperial synthesis of like an empire designating, again, Brian and I being of the classical liberal or libertarian persuasion. We want there to be this firewall between corporations and government and never the twain shall meet. But that's not how imperialists thought. They thought, well, we're going to designate these very specific companies that are in our pocket and we'll give them military troops. And that seems to be what's happening with the the corporals in the star.
