Do You Know What You Didn't Do?
Ike: I don't remember reading anything about the air traffic controller gettin trouble, if i remember right. The captain was not adequately prepared to respond to the changes en heading encountered during his take off. Bowing did not adequately consider the dynamic handling qualities of the bowing seven 37 during takeoff or landing in strong and gusty cross winds. Pilots injuries would have likely been lessened or eliminated if their seats had been designed to meet the craftworthiness requirement for other airplane seats.
