Putin's Using a Nuke in Ukraine Could That Be a Red Line?
The west does not want to get into a nuclear confrontation with Russia. There is some concern that if he were to cross that Rubicon it could potentially force the west to come to the negotiating table because of a fear of what this type of conflict could mean. If we do not respond strongly to Putin using a nuke or testing a nuke that could be a very dangerous signal to nuclear armed autocrats around the world but it was not clear even when our conversations in Washington now there's no consensus on what the response could be to that type of weapon being used.
