Are We Living in a Cultural War?
Sociologists argue that this is the most divided our nation has been since the civil war. Why do you think we feel that way? Where's this feeling of we're under fire, we're in the iddle of a war coming from? I would say three things. One is the culture wars have ramped up to a like phronetic kind of pitch. And part of that is because people no longer get their identity from a religious identity or a familial identity. Second reason, i would say, is the digital kind of moment were in amplifies that tension to the enth degree.
