At Square, Jack Dorsey really wanted everyone that was involved in product at Square to think of their role as editing. It's much more like you have a story or a narrative you're trying to tell and you're shaping it. Instead of going after every single input, you want to focus on a few inputs. The best product leaders also focus on prioritizing the things that matter most rather than what matters less.
