What if elections return Hamas to power?
I'm going to play devil's advocate here because what happens then if, you know, hopefully the current fighting comes to an end, we have a ceasefire and there are democratic elections and the Palestinian people elect Hamas? They debate Hamas's weakened position and the need for international mechanisms to ensure a legitimate authority.
