We tend to think of the storyline of the Bible as something like this. And so Jesus kind of floats down here, hangs out for a while and tells us we're all horrible. We need to believe in him so that one day when we die we can escape and go here forever and ever. But if you actually read the Bible, you read that it's saying something far more interesting than this.
