The Importance of Photography in Forensics

Photography is very frequently taken to be capable of producing evidence, isn't it? So in a sense, I'm wondering if the photography already by itself produces certain evidentiary tropes. And the second question is whether if that reflection is produced, whether it has any ability to comment on Strassheim's day job. No image can remain pure evidence, it becomes a visual artifact to be consumed and distributed within our visual culture.
