Is the Brain Producing Consciousness?

Tim arlasges thinks the particles that make up the brain have special non physical capacities to produce non physical consciousness. Normally those capacities are dormant, so physicists don't notice them. But when particles come together in complex combinations, they kick in and the brain produces this extra non physical level of reality. So he thinks, for that reason, the brain produces consciousness.
