The messiah will come from judah, but this shepherd, a stone of israel, will emerge from joseph. The arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty god of jacob. Benjamin shall raven as a wolf in the morning and divide the spoil at night. That too suggests military might, but also sharing the spoils of war. Some have even pointed out that the apostle paul came from the tribe of benjamin.
