I think this year the big theme will be about streaming because since 2007 there have been you know obviously every few years of renegotiation but it does feel like and I interviewed the president of the the WGA Meredith team that who's newly incoming in 2020 she really feels like this is a very important moment to be able to catch up with technology. We've seen such a transformation spurred in part by the pandemic towards how much content is now on streaming which has led to people suing studios for forcing their content straight on to streaming rather than theaters. A lot of these companies make up a greater part of the amputee pitz so they're even more relevant as we go into 2021.

Paris Marx is joined by Anousha Sakoui to discuss the prospect of a writer’s strike later this year, what workers are fighting for, and how the move to streaming has affected working conditions and compensation in Hollywood.
