Lurk is a content address language for data. But lurk is also a lisp and lisp is a language that really blurs the line between data and programs. Lisp was very popular during like the previous AI boom when people thought the symbolic AI was going to be the thing. Originally it's a creation from the 1960s that is now considered a little bit passé, mostly for reasons of trends and culture. It has a descendant that people like a little bit better these days called JavaScript.
