The site is in the petroleum reserve and because i was a petroleum reserve archaeologist there was money available to go back and look at sites that had had some environmental degradation just because of natural causes. The prevailing winds blow these huge chunks of ice right up into that site and it just peels the tundra back you know we're talking about chunks of ice that weigh five six hundred pounds prevail wind just blowing them right off into the lake. So i said okay give me some money i'll go up there with Irving's dissertation in hand and see how much damage has actually occurring there, seeing if there is something we can do for this important archaeological site.
