I think that these racialized zero-sum games are not the right conversations. Harvard's endowment is $53 billion. They could double the endowments of all of the top 10 HBCUs next year on interest alone if they chose to do so. And my hope is that what happened today actually ends up galvanizing a more genuine conversation about how we can address inequities in our society.
