Women are now supposed to be able to do it all. Have a career, but not too ambitious of one. You can be fully available to your family at the drop of a hat. And if you choose to stay home with your kids and leave a career, or have an ambitious career,. Not get married at all, or not have kids, or any combination of those. So as you can see, for women in general, our shame and our beliefs that lead to shame very much circle around our appearance. For them, it's still an expectation of strength.
