If there's been any good news about SARS-CoV-2 in the last four or five months, that sounds like the one little bit of good news that we'll just hang on to, right? Yes. The ABB did say that medical directors at blood centers may want to consider having some deferrals for COVID-19. For example, a donor should not donate until 14 days after being symptom-free. They weren't requirements, but I know many blood centers in the US have implemented these basic deferrals.
