Nix has been around for 20 years and was designed to solve the problems that we're encountering today, like 15 years ago. The worry I have is my eyes glaze over at the point when you talk about a configuration file. We came a long way with Ubuntu in that you put a USB key in and you get a graphical installer - it inverted commas just works kind of thing. And what I wanted to do was create the Ubuntu like experience. You know, something that uses boot into it feels comfortable there in command of their own destiny.
