How to Break a Journalist's Trust
Isabel Ochshott has turned over previous collaborators in her journalism before. The usual journalistic rules of not disclosing sources don't seem to apply to her, do they? She just hasn't really taken very much notice of them. I remember when the pandemic diaries came out and everyone quite rightly said about them that they were self-serving. They were a rewrite of history that glossed over Matt Hancock's enormous failings and made him look like he never did anything wrong. You can make a case for what she's done, but it is undermined by the journalism that has come after the decision to do it,. If you know what I mean.
