Unions have always been at the forefront of mental health a. Workers compensation claims represent about three or four per cent of our workers compensation claims. The fastest injury rate growth amongst mental health injuries is going back 15 to 20 years, according to research. Unions need to do more around mental health issues in places where they are also growing fast - like service sector jobs. But for many workers, that's not a the most relevant thing.
