Gay Pride and the Gifted Education Community
i don't feel ashamed of being gay, and i don't feel proud of being six foot. These are just attributes. And i really think that pride ought to come from something over which you have some control. I mean, let's face it, huge companies are run by gay people. You know how much a penalty it is to be ugly? They've done very hard studies on the effects of homophobia in an office environment. We're not there yet but we'll get there one way or another. It doesn't matter where you live - as long as you like what you do. The only thing that will ever make me happy about my life is if my children grow up
