The Fire Nation and the Conflict of Survival
So many of these episodes are about refugees so many of these episode are about displaced peoples whose villages or homes have been wiped out by the fire nation. It's so interesting to me how much of the pop culture that we consume for young people is about the stakes of war. So many of these characters who are not powered who aren't benders they are truly just trying to do the best they can with what they have.
