Hemangioma: What You Need to Know

Hemangiomas are the most common liver tumor. They have a male predominance and they have equal distribution in the liver. If you aspirate these, they will definitely come back. There's 100% recurrence rate. Sometimes if patients are very symptomatic from a very large cyst or multiple cysts, you see sometimes polycystic liver disease. This is actually known as the Casabock Merit Syndrome.
