The biggest sculpture by a contemporary artist, perhaps even the biggest sculpture ever made. Michael haiser is one of a group of artists who were known for land art. Land art is created by sculpting the earth and rock using graders and explosives. They were inspired by photographs that had been beamed back by the apollo space missions in the 19 sixties.
