Ishmael Kills Gedaliah
In the book of Jeremiah, there are 80 men arriving from Shechem and Shiloh and Samaria. They're going to find some place to worship God around that area, even though Jerusalem is destroyed. And here's Ishmael, and he just kills him,. And he casts their bodies into the cistern. That's how evil and how wild that after all this pain that the Israelites, the Jewish people had gone through, now it's just utter chaos.
