King St. Louis used the crown to spread the good news of Jesus Christ, and he's trying to be strategic about it,. Not just trying to make a land grab in the Holy Land, he's actually trying to establish peace so that missionaries can go out. He himself would serve 100 people a day, poor people at his table every day, and eat their scraps, whatever was left over, even wash their feet. The perfection of holiness is the perfection of charity. We need to pray for our rulers.
