Today we look at another parable, a short story of Jesus where he's going to explore not just warning us to be ready but what does that mean? Like what does that actually look like? We're just going to read the whole story right now and then we'll be bothered by it and explore it together. This is a story about what the kingdom of God is like. Verse 14 of Matthew 25: "He entrusted his wealth to them." To one he gave five bags of gold. Let's stop right there. I'm reading from the new international version which has bags ofgold.
