Is There a Difference Between the Process and the Painting?
Hook: For me, paintings are kind of a dialogue between either me and the painting or me and the subject. Hook: I have come to believe that you leave out details, you leave things a little impressionistic, a little vague. People will read into a painting where you have sort of, I heard another artist explain it as like friends finishing each other's sentences.
