Compulsive Sexuality and Feminism
I think that compulsive sexuality is a part of compulsory sexuality. I've spoken to ACEs who have put themselves in situations where they have sex they don't want to because they want to prove something. There can be that feeling that, oh, I need to show that I'm down. And so if you feel deep down there's something wrong with you that drive to prove everyone wrong, prove yourself wrong, can be strong. That can just lead to people having sex that is consensual in the sense that they say yes to it, but deep down, not really wanted.
