One of the things that I'm interested in with flow theory is how you can tell when you're in an activity, where you are on the spectrum and what change might be the best to make you more apt to get into flow. So it sounds like by meshing the two, it creates this very helpful way where you can figure out what specific thing could we do to make it so we're more apt to getting into flow.
