The Future of Artificial Intelligence

Jay Parini: In the next few years, we're going to see an artificial intelligence software make a completely real simulation of basically any TV or movie you've ever seen. He says it is going to replace drudgery first and foremost. The real question is then, is it going to displace jobs at the low end? Parini: I'll just go with agnology as the study of ignorance. That seems like it would be used a different word there.
