I think the issue is that a lot of people do have a mission-driven feeling in tech, and that's how you need to bring in and make them feel like they're actually impacting people. In Israel, the people who command the most respect in the military in the UK used to be government officials - it's entrepreneurs. And we used to have a lot more respect for our government officials.
