How to Be an Action Officer

I like to get leader hats for whatever meeting I'm going into. And then when we go into a meeting and someone's going to break me, my staff kind of knows now. They'll ask me a question like, do you have anything you want to say before we start to brief? Because sometimes they don't brief. We have a conversation. If I make a decision in a certain direction or make a factor, I want to hear from them to go, sir, I wouldn't do that if I were you.
