In the mid 90s, as I like to put it, the factory left forever and the pills showed up for good at the same time. By the time I graduate high school, all my family's businesses are closed. My mom is addicted to pills herself. People are sick. Everything just falls apart and that happens for the whole town. For a very long time, that county was like a blue county in Tennessee because it was like old school, working man, democrats or whatever, that type of thing. But then naff to the Clintons, factory leaves, town gets demolished and it changes a lot.
