What Are You Hopeful About in 2022?
I think for comparative ed, like you said, really getting away from this binary thinking is it would be really helpful. And being able to hold tension and contradiction and live with it and try and understand it seems to be a really important part of the academic project. So I do want to move to things that perhaps are, let's use the word, less heavy, you know, more hopeful because 2022, of course, was not all dire. The talk on protest actually does sort of indicate that there's a lot of really interesting spaces, hopeful spaces, that do exist. But I sort of want to ask you what were you hopeful about in 2022?
