After brenda and jim called it quits, she decided to take up her best friend joyce's offer of a double date with this mel ignato character. And so in september 19 86, the two couples went on a double date on mell's yacht. Five months later, brenda and mell were engaged. Some people will describe this as a world wind romance, but to us it looks quite a lot like a enormous love bombing campaign. Mel couldn't stand even the idea of mess.
