Is Mother Nature a Mean of Life Communicating With Itself?

Is there any sense in which mother nature could communicate through a stupid virus? It seems obvious to me. If we can learn anything from frot, is that we don't even know how to communicate with ourselves. Marbut, you know, it's all one week mess. This is, for me, the cagelian spirit of contingency. Many paradoxes possible.
