What's the Cost of a Defunding of the Police?

The cost of acting expressively is basically zero. The cost of saying something that either you don't believe or you do believe but you wouldn't if you had to pay the cost of holding that belief, right? Is really cheap. So I mean, this is one explanation for why we get these pathologies. This is just like part of maybe it's always been with us. It's just like worse than it is now. But yeah, I mean, consumers care more, care about more things than just saving money. And companies are taking that into account in a very malicious way - not malicious in a short sighted way.
