Is There Any Faith?

The next chapter is going to document the ultimate destruction and downfall of the Northern Kingdom. And I don't think there is a single sin that's mentioned that we would expect to be mentioned. The only thing that comes up over and over and over in a variety of different ways is that Israel for so the Lord their God, they broke the first commandment. That is the capital sin that is talked about over and over. So all the things that you might, you know, might come into play are not mentioned. They're there, of course, but the focus remains laser like on that that sin, the great sin of idolatry,. which then spawned everything, everything else.
