A group of scientists published a paper in a big journal, nature astronomy. They detected a certain gas in the clouds o venus that's strongly associated with life. Other scientists have analyzed this data and say they don't see the phosphine. If there is life on venus, it is probably of a type that we cannot now imagine. Can we try to imagine it?
Venus is the hottest, scariest planet in the solar system, but billions of years ago it may have been a lot like Earth, complete with an ocean of water. So, what killed Venus? And could Earth be next?
