That is important because it's if you've been through tough times before, you're going to make it through the tough times that are here now. Great sales people can find the positive aspects of their solution and really emphasize that as long as that aligns with what the customer is trying to accomplish. The vision isn't necessarily risk free, but there is a perceived value to a better vision.
