Betty Cash has been hospitalized at least 25 times and had two operations for cancer after having shown no previous signs of it. Vicki Landrum's illness appeared to be less severe than that of Betty Cash. Colby Landrum was affected less by the encounter than the two adults. They thought they encountered some kind of government craft, perhaps a spacecraft being tested.
