What Do You Think About US India Relations?
Bush senior George H.W. Bush was very friendly with an Indian American doctor called Zaxakarya in Florida, who became a major fundraiser for the Bush family. Jeb Bush and George W. Bush kind of knew this family as well because the two families became very close over time. So he was very familiar with India and Indians. Then he was also inclined to think that China is a potential rival. I remember one of his campaign speeches before the elections where he said it's important to make better friends with India.
