How Do You Write a Good Book?

In my first book, sparrow rising, i focusthe ma just on a very small region of the world. It was nice to really focus in and i put a lot of detail in that one very small section. In the second book, they take off across the world and visit a lot of new places. So fof that map i pulled back, showed a lot more of the world with zoomed out areas. And again, i only bed the places they went to, or they talked about, or particularly imported to the plot of that particular book.
