The RMSA - The Root Mean Square Error of Approximation
The root mean square error of approximation has a known distribution. The RMSCA in truth characterizes the fit of your model in the population, which might be all or nothing. What sample size would you need to shrink your confidence intervals down so that 80% of the time they are below whatever threshold you've set for yourself, like 0.05? This is the logic of power analysis when you're using this index and it's just a different numerical description.
